The 1 ever
clinical meta-analysis
proving the link between
_work and cancer recovery
“Cancer affects both the body and the mind.
So the stronger you are mentally, the better
you can cope with it’, doctors told Eva after
her diagnosis.
So Eva decided to keep working during her
cancer treatment, because it helped her feel
better.
And Eva is not the only one.
For some people with cancer,
work can be part of the cure.
Work can play a therapeutic role in cancer
recovery. Doctors recognize it, patients feel
it firsthand.
Yet for companies, it’s counterintuitive:
work is seen as something that “gets in the
way,’ preventing them from supporting
employees as they should.
To make it imperative for companies
to act, we made it scientifically
undeniable.
In partnership with Memorial Sloan
Kettering Cancer Center, we launched the
first clinical meta-analysis highlighting the
connection between work and
recovery. Showing the clinical evidence
behind what some might see as isolated
cases.
