“A powerful

INSIGHT experience
Medical professionals working in trauma, school
teachers and youth-violence reduction units hear one [BIBIC]
question from young people repeatedly, “where is a & NEWS
there a safe place to stab someone?” It shows fear and
ignorance, driven not by violent intent, but by the
need to make violence survivable. Behind this lies a
misconception: that the human body offers “safe” zones.
“A life-saving
workshop”
Uby NEWS
IDEA
We flipped the question back on young people ina
physically immersive experience so that they would
discover the answer for themselves: there is no safe
place to stab. “The Fatal Question” places a life-sized
interactive human sculpture in schools and workshops.
Teenagers are invited to point to a spot they believe
would be safe to stab. When they do, a beam of light
triggers real-life testimonies projected onto the body
and wall: young victims who died from single stab
wounds in that exact area. The visceral impact of
interacting with a body, making a choice, then seeing
the brutal consequence ensured the message landed.
