Case Study Details
Quality control in glass bottle production takes place at multiple stages. First, bottles are inspected at the hot end; after reaching the cold end, they undergo visual and dimensional checks at hourly intervals. Following this stage, each product is analyzed by three different defect inspection machines that perform various checks (visual, dimensional, leakage, cracks, thinness, etc.). If a bottle fails inspection, it is automatically pushed off the conveyor onto the belt below. Rejected bottles are collected there and sent back to the furnace. Nothing is lost—the glass is melted down and re-enters the production cycle. This closed loop is part of daily operations, as glass is, by its nature, infinitely recyclable.

some factory videos?
Sigecam, one of the world’s top five glass
producers, was expanding its social media
presence to a global English speaking audience.
But how does an industrial giant introduce itself
without resorting to the formulaic B2B content
everyone scrolls past?
The challenge was clear: Make factory footage
compelling.

Our solution: give every production process its
own voice. Original scripts and lyrics for ten
films, each in a different genre. Rap battles
between raw materials. Folk ballads for
départing glass sheets. Romantic duets
between robots and glass. Philosophical
monologues in mould workshops.
